Our client is a fast-growing digital and technology-led organisation with a strong online presence. The brand focuses on engaging communities through valuable, relatable, and high-quality content across social platforms. As the audience continues to grow, the company is looking for a creative and organised Social Media / Content Assistant to support content creation and day-to-day social media operations.
As a Social Media / Content Assistant, you will support the planning, creation, and publishing of content across multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with the marketing and brand team to help grow reach, engagement, and consistency across social channels. This role is ideal for someone creative, detail-oriented, and eager to build experience in digital marketing and content.
Assist with creating and scheduling content across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Facebook
Support short-form content creation (captions, carousels, reels, basic video edits)
Maintain a content calendar and ensure posts go out on time
Monitor comments, messages, and engagement, escalating where needed
Support basic analytics tracking (reach, engagement, follower growth)
Help repurpose content across platforms and formats
Stay up to date with social trends, formats, and platform updates
Essential
Strong written communication skills with attention to tone and brand voice
Interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable using social platforms and digital tools
Willingness to learn and take feedback
Desirable (not essential):
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer, Hootsuite, Publer, Later)
Basic design or video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express)
Experience creating content for personal brands, businesses, or communities
Familiarity with analytics tools or platform insights
Flexible working
