This role is part of the ISCANET Career Accelerator Programme, a structured, output-driven, 6-month work-experience programme designed to provide real-world exposure, mentorship, and measurable impact.
As a Community & Ambassador Manager, you will be responsible for building, engaging, and scaling ISCANET’s community and ambassador network. This role sits at the heart of user trust, engagement, and organic growth.
You will work closely with the Founder and Growth team to ensure ISCANET’s community is active, informed, and aligned with the platform’s mission.
This is a remote, volunteer-based role focused on leadership, ownership, and execution.
Manage and engage ISCANET’s online communities (e.g. WhatsApp, Discord, Slack)
Drive consistent engagement through discussions, updates, and initiatives
Act as the first point of contact for community questions and feedback
Gather insights and relay feedback to product and growth teams
Recruit, onboard, and support ISCANET Ambassadors
Define ambassador activities, expectations, and engagement cadence
Track ambassador participation and impact
Motivate and coordinate ambassadors across universities and communities
Support the planning and execution of virtual events, webinars, and AMAs
Work with marketing and content teams to promote community activities
Encourage community-led discussions and peer-to-peer support
Collaborate with Growth, Content, and Product teams
Maintain simple engagement metrics (participation, activity, feedback)
Share insights to help improve user experience and retention
Hands-on experience in Community Management and Leadership
Experience managing a global community and ambassador programme
Exposure to a live, fast-growing tech platform
Direct mentorship and guidance from the Founder and experienced professionals
A Certificate of Completion upon successful programme completion
A LinkedIn recommendation and professional reference (performance-based)
Transferable skills relevant to community, marketing, partnerships, and operations roles
Duration: 6 months
Time commitment: 5+ hours per week
Location: Fully remote
Probation: 30-day probation period with defined deliverables
This role is voluntary and unpaid, focused on learning and career development
Certificates and references are issued only upon successful completion
Aspiring or early-career Community Managers, Programme Coordinators, or Marketers
Students, recent graduates, or career switchers interested in community-led growth
Individuals comfortable leading conversations and coordinating people
Strong communicators who take ownership and follow through
