Business Referral Programme Terms
These terms explain how the ISCANET Business Referral Programme works. They are written to be understandable rather than heavily legalistic.
Draft — pending final legal review. This content is a product description of how the programme operates and must be reviewed and approved by ISCANET's legal team before public launch.
1. Eligibility
The programme is open to existing ISCANET business customers in good standing. Each ISCANET organisation has one referral identity (link and code) owned by the organisation, not by an individual employee.
2. Qualifying business
A referral only qualifies if the referred organisation is a genuinely new ISCANET business — one that has not previously held an ISCANET business account — and if it goes on to hold an eligible 12-month ISCANET plan.
3. Genuinely new customer requirement
Referrals of existing or returning ISCANET customers, of businesses that were already in an active sales process with ISCANET, or of businesses connected to the referrer, are not eligible.
4. Attribution
A referral must be attributed before or during the referred business's initial onboarding, either by following the referrer's referral link or by entering the referrer's code during signup. The first valid attribution applies and cannot later be changed except by ISCANET to correct an error. A referred business can have only one referrer.
5. Annual-plan and invoice requirement
The referred business must become a customer on an eligible 12-month ISCANET plan. ISCANET issues the annual invoice manually and records it as paid once payment is received. Qualification does not begin until the annual invoice is recorded as paid.
6. Qualification period
After the annual invoice is recorded as paid, a qualification period of 90 days runs. If the referred business maintains its eligible annual plan throughout that period, the referral becomes eligible for a reward.
7. Reward calculation
The reward is based on the plan the referred business holds at qualification, using the reward table in force when the referral was attributed:
Starter: £30
Team: £60
Growth: £100
Business+: £150
Enterprise / custom plans: reward agreed and entered manually by ISCANET.
If the programme's commercial terms change later, referrals already attributed keep the terms recorded against them at the time of attribution.
8. Reward issuance
Rewards are reviewed and issued manually by ISCANET after the qualification period completes and after ISCANET has approved the reward. ISCANET does not make automated payments under this programme.
9. Reward methods
ISCANET may offer rewards as cash, gift card, ISCANET account credit, or another method, and may enable or disable methods over time. A referrer can state a preferred method; the method actually used is at ISCANET's discretion. Where ISCANET account credit carries an enhanced value, that is stated in the programme information at the time.
10. Non-transferability
Referral rewards are for the referring organisation and are not transferable or exchangeable except as ISCANET decides.
11. Self-referrals and duplicate referrals
Self-referrals are not permitted. A business can only be referred once; duplicate or repeated submissions do not create additional referrals or rewards.
12. Abuse and fraud
ISCANET may investigate any referral and may withhold or reclaim a reward, and disqualify a referral, where it reasonably believes the programme terms have been breached or the referral involves misrepresentation, collusion, or other abuse.
13. Cancellation and refunds
If the referred business cancels, is refunded, or ceases to hold an eligible annual plan before the qualification period completes, the referral is not eligible and no reward is due. If a reward has already been issued in such a case, ISCANET may reclaim it.
14. Promotional stacking
The referred-business offer under this programme does not automatically combine with other ISCANET promotions. Where more than one offer could apply, ISCANET decides which single offer applies.
15. Taxes
Where a referral reward is taxable, any tax arising is the responsibility of the recipient. ISCANET does not provide tax advice.
16. Programme changes
ISCANET may change the programme's commercial terms (including reward amounts, the referred-business offer, and the qualification period) at any time. Changes apply to referrals attributed after the change. Referrals already attributed keep the terms recorded against them.
17. Programme termination
ISCANET may pause or end the programme at any time. If the programme is paused, new referrals are not accepted, but referrals already attributed continue under their recorded terms, and rewards already earned are still honoured.
18. Honouring existing referrals
Where a referral was attributed under an earlier version of the programme, ISCANET honours the commercial terms stored against that referral, subject to the eligibility and anti-abuse provisions above.
19. ISCANET's discretion
ISCANET may investigate any referral, request supporting information, and make the final decision on eligibility, qualification, reward amount, reward method, and disqualification.
