Quickly close and delete your account

We'll be sorry to see you go. Closing your account will delete any recommendations or endorsements you've given or received, plus your messages and connections. Your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Closing your account means permanently deleting your profile and removing access to all your ISCANET information from our platform. If you have a Premium account, you can cancel the Premium access, but still keep your free Basic account to retain your profile, connections, and other information.

Important to know

To close your ISCANET account from the Settings & Privacy page:

  1. Click the Profile icon at top of your ISCANET dashboard.
  2. Select Settings from the menu.
  3. Under Account management section, click Delete Account
  4. Check the reason for closing your account and click Next.
  5. Enter your account password and click Close account.

Before you delete your account, please note:

  • You won't have access to your connections or any information you've added to your account.
  • Your profile will no longer be visible on ISCANET.
  • Search engines like Yahoo!, Bing, and Google may still display your information temporarily due to the way they collect and update their search data.
  • You'll lose all recommendations and endorsements you've collected on your ISCANET profile.
  • You may want to download a copy of your data before you close your account with us.
  • If you have a premium membership or premium account license, you'll have to resolve those accounts before being able to close your Basic account.
  • Your purchase history will no longer be accessible.

Account Recovery

You can reopen your account in most cases if it's been closed less than 14 days, but we're unable to recover the following even if you reopen your account:

  • • Endorsements and recommendations
  • • Ignored or pending invitations
  • • Followings (Companies, etc.)
  • • Group memberships

Alternative: Reduce notifications instead

Do you want to keep your account but receive fewer emails and notifications? You can set the frequency of email communications and notifications from the Notifications section of your Settings page to reduce emails, notifications, and ISCANET announcements.
